CLINICAL PEDIATRIC RESEARCH GRANTS
FROM THE
CHILDREN'S CANCER RESEARCH FUND

The Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) was established in 1987 to provide support on a national level for clinical research in the field of childhood cancer. The fund announced an annual research grant program focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and side effects of therapy of childhood cancer in 1989. Since then, we have awarded 63 grants totaling $2,271,648.00. This past year, the CCRF was able to support grants totaling $189,902. The CCRF anticipates awarding a minimum of three grants in 2010 at $40,000 each, direct costs. The purpose of this grant program is to support investigators at the postdoctoral level (M.D. or Ph.D.) in the conduct of innovative pilot clinical studies that have the potential to develop new insights into clinical aspects of childhood cancer. Applications by senior fellows and junior faculty investigators are particularly encouraged. Interested individuals should submit the original and six copies of the application form by June 16, 2010 to:
